Peca Bit has no user accounts and no backend that stores personal data. This page explains exactly what happens to information when you use the website or the app preview.
There is no sign-up, no login and no user database. We do not set advertising cookies, we do not run third-party analytics or tracking pixels, and we do not sell or share personal information, because we do not hold any. The only data the interface writes is a favorites list kept in your own browser.
The support form on the website is handled entirely in the browser and is not submitted to a server. To reach us, use the email address in section 8.
The app preview writes a single key to your browser's local storage, pecabit:favs, which holds the list of trading pairs you starred. It never leaves your device and is not readable by us. You can delete it at any time from Profile → Clear local favorites, or by clearing site data in your browser.
If you install the app as a Progressive Web App, your browser also caches the interface files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, icons) so the shell opens without a connection. That cache contains no personal data and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear site data.
To display live prices, your browser requests public market data directly from third-party exchange endpoints. Those requests are made from your device, not proxied through us, so the data provider will see your IP address and standard request headers as it would for any web request. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policy, not ours.
Your hosting provider or CDN may also keep standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent) for security and operational purposes. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.
When you email support@pecabit.app, we receive whatever you include in that message — typically your email address and the content of your question. We use it only to answer you, retain it for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable record-keeping period afterwards, and do not use it for marketing.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In practice the only personal data we could hold is support correspondence you sent us. Email us and we will action such a request within the timeframe required by applicable law.
This service is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under the age at which they can lawfully consent to the processing of their data in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We will update this page if the product changes in a way that affects privacy, and the revision date at the top will reflect that. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made silently.
